Bush Says More Drilling, Nukes and Ethanol Key to Lower Energy Prices

In a press conference today, President Bush said Congress is responsible for blocking legislation that would open the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to exploration and drilling which he claims would add 1 million barrels of crude oil per day to U.S. supplies. He said it would add about 27 million bpd of gasoline and diesel fuel to current supplies. What he failed to say was drilling in ANWR, if successful, would take perhaps ten years before the first barrel.......
