Chevron Opens First LEED Gold Certified Building in Louisiana

Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) today announced the opening of the company's first LEED certified building and the first gold certified LEED building in the state of Louisiana. LEED is an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a certification program of the United States Green Building Council. LEED has a rating system for new buildings that are constructed to have less of an impact on the environment and are healthier for those who work in them.
